Site Admin Raphaël Hertzog Mon, 26 May 2008 10:43:03 GMT Public key logins temporarily disabled http://alioth.debian.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=2825 Due to a weakness in OpenSSL's randon number generator, SSH keys have been removed on Alioth, and SSH logins through public-key authentication have been disabled. The latter will be restored when some safeguards have been set up so that insecure keys are not re-installed. Please upgrade your OpenSSL libraries as per the Debian Security Advisory #1571, then ensure your keys are safe (or, preferably, generate new keys), then install them on your account management page. Site Admin Roland Mas Tue, 13 May 2008 12:46:12 GMT moved to git http://alioth.debian.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=2795 debhelper's subversion repository has been converted into a git repository, hosted at git.debian.org. debhelper Joey Hess Tue, 23 Oct 2007 6:00:17 GMT Moved Debian Jr. repository from CDD project to here http://alioth.debian.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=2607 The Debian Jr. subversion repository has been moved from the old address, svn://svn.debian.org/cdd/projects/junior to this project. To check it out: $ svn co svn://svn.debian.org/debianjr There also is (or will be soon) a new debianjr-commits@lists.alioth.debian.org mailing list for those who want to subscribe to repository change messages, and debianjr is also registered at cia.vc so that the CIA bot will report svn commits on the #debian-jr irc channel at irc.debian.org. Debian-Jr Ben Armstrong Mon, 09 Apr 2007 5:42:37 GMT Old Alioth database restored http://alioth.debian.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=2555 Due to a unfortunate mistake, we lost the database and had to restore an old backup. Please check http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2007/02/msg00015.html for more information on what's lost and what happened to accounts and projects created between november and now. Sorry for the inconvenience, the Alioth admins. This may be set to "linux32" to run a 32-bit Linux chroot on an amd64 system, for example. * dchroot has an additional personality field in dchroot.conf. This may also be set to linux32 to achieve the same effect as the personality setting in schroot.conf. * The root user can access all chroots, even when the root group is omitted from the groups or root_groups lists. Authentication is still required, but by default is skipped due to using pam_rootok.so in the PAM configuration. * Session recovery is only performed at system startup, not on upgrades. This prevents upgrades interfering with active sessions. The Buildd Project Roger Leigh Sun, 25 Jun 2006 7:07:35 GMT
